Inspired by my personal interest in horror and thriller novels, Whispers from the Mist is a conceptual book cover design crafted to evoke suspense and mystery. My goal was to create a compelling visual that captures the genre's essence. I utilized a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, employing advanced techniques such as image masking and manipulation to blend disparate elements seamlessly. The design features original photography for the back cover character, while the ominous monster emerging from the mist was hand-drawn, allowing for a unique and chilling artistic touch to achieve the desired eerie atmosphere.
